Math Test on Monday October 5!

We will be having our first math test on Monday October 5! We have spent the first month of school learning all about place value and the different ways to represent numbers. The students completed a Test Review sheet in class today and it will be sent home (along with other work samples) for you to review no later than Thursday.

For this test, students will need to do the following:

• Represent a number in standard form, expanded form, base ten form, words and pictures
• Understand the value of a digit (i.e. that the 7 in 742 is 700).
• Compare and order numbers (i.e. arrange numbers from greatest to least).
